For the editor itself, Dark+ or GitHub Dark. Both lean neutral-cool, which sounds like a fight with warm gold and mostly is not, because the gold never enters the code area. Avoid Monokai and anything with a strong yellow-green string color. Two different yellows in one window look like a mistake rather than a decision.

Skip it also if you rely on interface color coding: git status colors, per-language icon tints, colored terminal output. This theme wants the interface quiet and it will fight you on that.
