Follow these steps to install and use Codex Skin Studio

Prerequisites

  • Windows 10/11 x64 or macOS (Apple Silicon / Intel)
  • Official Codex desktop app installed (Windows: Microsoft Store OpenAI.Codex)
  • Windows PowerShell 5.1+ (built-in; the installer calls it automatically)

macOS Installation Guide

  1. 1Download the latest installer (.dmg) from GitHub Releases
  2. 2Drag Codex Skin Studio into the Applications folder
  3. 3First run: right-click the icon → Open (bypass unsigned warning)
  4. 4Click the menu-bar icon and choose a theme
  5. 5The Codex UI applies the theme instantly
